Special Screening of Impatient Vivek at IFFI-GOA

The ten-day long 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has been commenced since 22nd November in Panjim,Goa.
There will be a special screening of Hindi feature film IMPATIENT VIVEK in this film festival on 26th November,2010 at 7pm, INOX theatre, Goa Entertainment Society Campus, Panaji.Impatient Vivek is a beautiful love story which sometimes tickles you and sometimes touches the core of your heart.
In the main lead, a science communicator turned singer/artist, Vivek is making his silver screen debut with Miss India Sayali Bhagat.
There is also a special screening of India's official entry to Academy Awards, PEEPLI LIVE. This year the competition section has been made open to all feature films from across the world. Earlier, this section was restricted only to feature films from Asia, Asia Pacific,Latin America and Africa  .Total 18 feature films (of which 3 are Indian and 15 foreign languages)  have been short listed for the participation.
Also this year new awards viz., Best Actor and Best Actress have been introduced under Competition Section.
The Indian panorama shall feature 26 feature films, these include Abohomaan, Achin Paakhi, Moner Manush, Ami Aadu (Bengali), Three Idiots, Wake-up-Sid, Paa (Hindi), Kaal Chilambu (Malayalam), Ravanan (Tamil), Mee Sindhutai Sapkal (Marathi) which is the opening film of the Panorama, Shabari (Kannada), Swayamsiddha (Odiya). 21 Non-Feature Films will be showcased in the Indian Panorama.
“Leaving Home” will be the opening film for the Non feature film category.
The Best Film would be awarded Golden Peacock and given a Prize money of Rs.40 lakh, the Best Director would be awarded Silver Peacock and given a Prize money of Rs.15 lakh, Best Actor would be given a Silver Peacock and given a Prize money of Rs.10 lakh, Best Actress would be given a Silver Peacock and given a Prize money of Rs.10 lakh, Special Jury Award given a Silver Peacock and given a Prize money of Rs.15 lakh.
One key aspect of the festival will be the commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of the Film & Television Institute of India.
